I found this jacket at a consignment shop in Little Five Points, and it inspired me a ton. The owner of the consignment traveled to Asia and brought this a long with a couple other traditional pieces back to Atlanta. I was hesitant in the beginning; I haven’t worn a unique garment in a while. For the most part my looks are minimal and comfortable. The piece is so freeing because it sparked the creativity I use to have when I first discovered fashion as a passion of mine. I’d go to the thrift stores every weekend and find the oddest pieces to wear, and it didn’t matter what people thought about it. The jacket brought me back to that freedom– the peace of non-conformity, thus I bought the jacket.
