Kerby Jean-Raymond Departs From Reebok

Many know Kerby as being the designer behind Pyer Moss. However he was also the Creative Director at Reebok. Together they created numerous collections for Pyer Moss and others. Last year Reebok was sold to Authentic Brands Groups for 2.5 billion. ABG has an exhaustive portfolio. They own Forever 21, Barneys New York, Nine West ,Vince Camuto, and Nautica. When looking at the list of companies they do own, it doesn’t seem as creativity isn’t high on their list. That may be the reason Kerry left directly before they took over. But don’t worry, his last collection will be released in March.
Kim Kardashian first Balenciaga Campaign

Over the last couple of seasons we have seen Kim and Kanye West in only Balenciaga. We all knew there was an underlining deal. Therefore, it was no surprise when Kim was the first star in their campaign. Balenciagas transition from being an uptight fashion house to a street brand with its hand in the American market has been sight to see.
Black in Fashion Council Showroom

The Black in Fashion council will host a showroom. This showroom is called the Discovery Showroom, which is very fitting. This showroom is only for emerging black designers. BIFC was important for helping companies like Theophilio, House of Aama, Chuks Collins and Ashya. (Fashion united)
Miu Miu launches New Sneakers with New Balance

During their Spring 2022 Miu Mu brought back micro mini skirt and cropped sweaters bringing a new look to the Y2K movement. In this show they also previewed a distressed chic trainers. This week these sneakers are now available in 3 different colors; dark wash, optic white and khaki brown. These new versions of the 574 model are $695 and are available on Miu Miu. (Miu Miu)
